The "Qazygurt" team from Kazygurt village, Turkistan region, became prize-winners at the "Open International Championship 2026" held in Greece. Following the results of the global competition, the Kazakhstani students won second place in the prestigious "Champions Award" category.

Young engineers from 56 countries participated in the competition. The Kazakhstani national team competed against participants from leading nations such as the USA, Japan, Brazil, Germany, China, Spain, and Turkey. The winning team consisted of 8 students from the K. Tursynkulov, K. Satbayev, and A. Makarenko schools in Kazygurt village. They were prepared for the competition by five mentors led by Orazkhan Beksultan.

To achieve this success, the "Qazygurt" team trained for an entire year. They earned their ticket to the international championship after winning the previous "Alem Tech Fest" competition. That large-scale project was organized by the "USTEM Foundation" and the "Daryn" Republican Scientific and Practical Center with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
