Kazakhstan’s elite special forces have emerged victorious at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026, a prestigious five-day international tournament held in Dubai. The competition brought together top-tier tactical units from across the globe to test their skills in high-pressure scenarios.

The event featured 109 teams from 48 countries, all competing to demonstrate superior tactical thinking, speed, precision, and seamless coordination.

Kazakhstan was represented by five distinct teams: Kazakhstan A, B, C, D, and the all-female unit Kazakhstan Tomiris. To support the participants, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, was present throughout the event by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs.

The final day focused on the grueling obstacle course, where Kazakhstan B secured first place, while Kazakhstan A finished among the top five strongest teams.

The highlight of the tournament, however, was the overall standings. Kazakhstan C delivered a consistent and masterly performance over the five days, clinching first place in the general classification of the UAE SWAT CHALLENGE-2026. Further solidifying the country’s dominance, Kazakhstan A secured the silver medal, taking second place in the overall global rankings.

This victory underscores the high level of training, resilience, and tactical excellence of Kazakhstan’s special forces on the international stage, placing them at the forefront of the world’s elite tactical units.
