Kazakhstan will be represented by 36 athletes at the XXV Winter Olympic Games, scheduled to take place from February 6 to 22, 2026, in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. A notable feature of this year's squad is the strict adherence to the principle of gender equality, with the team consisting of 18 men and 18 women.

This marks Kazakhstan’s ninth appearance in the Winter Olympics as an independent nation. The country’s athletes will compete across 10 different sports. Notably, the number of Olympic quotas has increased by two compared to the Beijing 2022 Games.

The national team will be led by seasoned veterans, including Yulia Galysheva (Pyeongchang 2018 bronze medalist), short-track specialists Abzal Azhgaliyev and Denis Nikisha, figure skater Mikhail Shaidorov, and freestyler Anastasia Gorodko.

For half of the squad—18 athletes—this will be their Olympic debut. The youngest member of the national team is 16-year-old Asan Assylkhan.
