Kazakhstan has ranked among the top 15 countries globally for the highest number of paid days off. In a ranking compiled by the independent organization World Population Review, the country secured the 15th position out of 186 nations, surpassing most other CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) member states.

  •  The minimum amount of paid leave mandated by law;
  • The average amount of paid leave actually provided to employees;
  • The total number of paid public holidays in the country.

According to Kazakhstan's labor legislation, the minimum paid annual leave is set at 24 days. This high standard, combined with the country's public holidays, ensured its strong standing in the international rankings.
