The Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan has officially debunked reports circulating on social media regarding the alleged dangers of Kinder chocolate, reports informburo.kz.

This rumor is based on outdated information from 2016. At that time, the German organization Foodwatch discovered traces of mineral oils in Ferrero products and claimed they were harmful to health. However, Ferrero explained that these substances are widespread in the environment and pledged to strengthen production and packaging standards.

Committee representatives emphasized that this issue was thoroughly investigated at the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) level at the time, and no violations were confirmed. Currently, no complaints regarding Kinder products have been registered from residents of Kazakhstan. Experts urge citizens not to panic and to trust only official and verified information sources.
