Iran Identifies Google, Tesla, and Apple as Strategic Military Targets

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially designated 18 major American corporations, including Microsoft, Apple, Google, Meta, Nvidia, and Tesla, as "legitimate military targets." According to reports by RBK, the Iranian military accuses these tech giants of complicity in "terrorist operations" and assisting in the coordination of strikes against Iranian interests.

The list of targeted entities extends beyond the IT sector to include semiconductor manufacturers Intel and Nvidia, industrial leaders Boeing and General Electric (GE), and the financial group JPMorgan Chase.

Tehran alleges that these companies' artificial intelligence systems and advanced technologies are being utilized for military purposes, specifically for surveillance and targeting Iranian leadership. Consequently, the IRGC has issued a high-priority warning for employees to evacuate their workplaces immediately. Furthermore, residents located near these corporate facilities have been advised to maintain a minimum distance of one kilometer.

This directive went into effect at 8:00 PM Tehran time on April 1. US corporate offices and cloud infrastructure hubs across the Middle East are reportedly operating under heightened security protocols as a result of these threats.
