The Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Timur Suleimenov, announced the approximate size of payments under the “National Fund – for Children” program for 2025. According to him, the third payment is planned to be transferred no later than February 1, 2026.

The exact amount has not been determined yet. However, Suleimenov noted that the payments are expected to be similar to last year’s level. Children are expected to receive around $130, which is slightly over 65,000 tenge.

The payment for 2025 will be received by all children who are citizens of Kazakhstan and under 18 years old as of December 31, 2025.

Suleimenov also reported that the income from managing the National Fund in 2025 amounted to $8.7 billion, corresponding to an annual return of 15% in US dollars.

“Both of these figures are record-breaking. Such results have never been seen in the history of the National Fund’s management. Thanks to this income, the Fund grew despite significant transfers and withdrawals,” he said at a briefing.

For reference, in 2024, Kazakh children received $100.52, while in 2025, the payment amounted to $129.38. The annual payment depends directly on the Fund’s foreign currency assets and investment income. Payments are formed from half of the Fund’s long-term investment income.

Funds accumulated under the program can only be used after reaching adulthood, and exclusively for education or improving housing conditions. Early withdrawal from the special accounts is not allowed.
