A blogger recently took to social media to share an unexpected incident that occurred while she was riding in a taxi.
The car she was in was involved in a crash, leaving her with a severe blow to the head and leg. Although she was buckled up in the back seat, the impact caused her phone to fly out of her hands, leaving her unable to react immediately or call for help. At that moment, she felt a vibration on her wrist and heard a calm voice coming from her watch: "What happened? Do you need assistance?" It was a 112 emergency operator.

According to the author, the watch automatically triggered an SOS signal, contacted emergency services, and dispatched both traffic police and an ambulance to the scene.

"This technology, which I never gave much thought to, took control of the situation while I was in a state of shock," she shared.

The blogger noted that modern gadgets are no longer just "toys" but can act as a safety net during life’s most unexpected moments. Currently, she is doing well and escaped with only minor bruises.
