The Lebanese radical Shiite group Hezbollah and Iran carried out joint rocket attacks on Israel. On the evening of March 11, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that approximately 150 rockets were fired at northern and central Israel.

The attacks began around 8:00 PM, prompting air raid alerts in the affected regions. In Haifa, drone warning sirenswere also activated. Initial reports indicate that at least two people were injured.

Hezbollah stated that the attacks targeted Israeli military sites and towns within five kilometers of the Lebanon-Israel border, urging residents to evacuate.

In response, Israel conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in Beirut, including the Dahiya district, hitting 10 headquarters and ready-to-launch rocket systems. Local residents shared videos showing explosions and smoke rising from several locations.

Additionally, Iran launched ballistic missiles at Israel, but according to the IDF, all were intercepted by Israel’s defense systems. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) described the attacks as a “joint and integrated operation.”

On the night of March 12, Israel was again targeted from Lebanon with long-range rockets, triggering sirens in Tel Aviv. Iran also fired another ballistic missile at central Israel, while the IDF reported retaliatory strikes against IRGC targets in Tehran.
