The President has stated that social media negatively impacts human thought processes and lowers cognitive abilities. Against this backdrop, he noted that traditional newspapers and magazines are experiencing a "renaissance."

Tokayev pointed out that today, it is common to encounter adults whose level of thinking resembles that of adolescents. At the same time, he emphasized that professional journalism helps preserve core values and highlights those who truly work for the benefit of the country.

In his view, popular platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Telegram channels are far removed from the interests of working people:

"I would like our society not to live solely on news sensations and video clips, but to value meaningful, substantive information," the President said.
