A massive explosion has occurred at the Huasheng Fireworks Manufacturing and Display Company in China's Hunan Province. According to the latest official data, 21 people have died and 61 others have sustained various injuries as a result of the incident.

The blast took place within the industrial zone of the Liuyang city district. To mitigate the consequences of the emergency, nearly 500 rescuers, fire departments, and medical teams were deployed to the scene. Due to the risk of secondary explosions at warehouses storing black powder on the factory grounds, residents of nearby areas were evacuated to safety. Advanced robotic technology has been integrated into the search and rescue operations.

President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, has issued specific directives regarding the incident, ordering a thorough investigation into the causes of the disaster and the provision of all necessary assistance to the victims. Currently, relevant "control measures" have been applied to the company's management, and investigative procedures are underway.

In the wake of this tragedy, China's Ministry of Emergency Management has announced a decision to tighten safety standards and strengthen inspection measures across all hazardous production sites nationwide, with a particular focus on the pyrotechnics industry.
