A sharp decrease in air temperature is expected across Kazakhstan in the coming days. According to "Kazhydromet," a cold anticyclone will move across the country from January 13 to January 15.

Residents of the northern regions will be the first to feel the chill. By the night of January 14, temperatures there are forecasted to drop as low as -30°C to -38°C. On January 15, the severe frost will also spread to the eastern part of the country.

Synopticians note that the rapid movement of the anticyclone will lead not only to freezing temperatures but also to increased wind speeds. In some areas of northern Kazakhstan, wind gusts could reach up to 28 meters per second.
