Egyptian authorities have decided to raise the cost of entry visas for foreign tourists starting March 1 of this year. This change directly affects citizens of Kazakhstan, according to the Cairo 24 news outlet.

The price for an urgent entry visa will be $30 (approximately 14.9 thousand tenge). Previously, the visa fee was $25 (12.4 thousand tenge). The new pricing will take effect on March 1, 2026.

According to the Egyptian Chamber of Tourism Companies and Agencies, the tariff increase is aimed at improving service quality and developing the tourism sector. Currently, tour operators have been tasked with updating their programs and coordinating the new rates with foreign partners. Additionally, there are plans to increase the number of bank branches at airports and improve transportation services.
