Earthquake Hits Almaty

On December 4 at 12:45 PM, an earthquake was recorded in Almaty city.

Residents received notifications on their mobile phones within a minute, and alarm sirens were activated in some parts of the city.

According to the Emergency Situations Department, the earthquake’s intensity was felt at around 2–3 on the Richter scale.
