Defense Minister Makes Unannounced Visit to Military Unit in Zhambyl Region

Minister of Defense, Aviation Lieutenant General Dauren Kosanov, conducted an unannounced comprehensive inspection of Military Unit 03811 under the “South” Regional Command.

The minister reviewed the organization of daily operations, adherence to military regulations, the level of combat readiness, and the condition of military infrastructure. He also inspected barracks and sanitary facilities, checked the quality of meals, living conditions, and the moral and psychological well-being of the soldiers.

During the visit, the Minister of Defense took part in a significant event for the unit – the military oath ceremony of 60 new conscripts. He congratulated the young soldiers and urged them to serve the Motherland with loyalty and uphold military discipline and values.

“Taking the oath is a sacred moment for every Kazakhstani. It symbolizes loyalty to the nation, courage, and honor,” said Minister Dauren Kosanov.

The ceremony was attended by parents who arrived from various regions of the country. For them, an Open Day was organized, showcasing the unit’s living conditions, training facilities, and social support programs for young servicemen.

Later, the minister held an informal conversation with the soldiers and their parents, discussing the importance of military service and the role of youth in the armed forces.

Currently, Military Unit 03811 is considered one of the leading units within the “South” Regional Command, continuing strong military traditions and a record of service.

At the end of the visit, the Minister of Defense instructed the unit’s command to strengthen military discipline, ensure service safety, and further improve combat readiness.
