The final amendments to Kazakhstan's Constitution will be submitted to a nationwide referendum. This was announced by the President during a working meeting focused on parliamentary and constitutional reforms.

Currently, a dedicated working group is developing a model for a future unicameral parliament. This process involves defining its legal status, core functions, and how it will interact with other branches of government. A follow-up discussion is scheduled for mid-January, which will focus specifically on the powers of the new parliament and its strategic role within key state institutions.

Additionally, the date for the fifth meeting of the National Kurultai (National Congress) was confirmed during the session. It is set to take place on January 20 in the city of Kyzylorda. The Head of State has issued specific instructions regarding the agenda and the overall organization of the upcoming event.
