Car Prices to Decrease in Kazakhstan - Minister

Car prices in Kazakhstan are expected to decrease due to the expansion of domestic automobile production. This was announced by Minister of Industry and Construction Yersayin Nagaspayev during a government briefing.

According to the minister, Kazakhstani factories are increasing the number of car brands produced each year. The entry of new brands into the market will boost competition and contribute to lower prices.

“Our factories expand their range of brands annually. As new brands enter the market, prices will inevitably decrease. I can state this with confidence. The growth of domestic automobile production will also affect the prices of Chinese cars,” said Yersayin Nagaspayev.

During the Cabinet meeting, he noted that last year Kazakhstan’s automotive industry demonstrated record growth. In 2025, more than 171,000 vehicles were assembled in the country, including 159,000 passenger cars.
