The Kazakh Tazy made a historic and highly successful large-scale appearance at the World Dog Show 2026 in Bologna, Italy, where every dog presented from Kazakhstan received the highest "Excellent" rating, showcasing a record-breaking performance on the global stage. Among the top achievers, Lashyn from Astana was named Best of Breed and captured the World Champion title alongside Reya, also from Astana, while Chelsea and Tabigat from Almaty claimed the Junior World Champion titles in their respective categories.

This historic milestone continued as Chelsea went on to secure an impressive 4th place worldwide in the general sighthound competition. Following the full exhibition program, Daster, Lashyn, Reya, Pers, Arlan, and Kerbez were officially awarded the Italian Champion title, while Chelsea, Tabigat, and Aktaban earned the Junior Italian Champion status.

This triumphant showcase serves as a strategic step toward final recognition, as the Union of Cynologists of Kazakhstan also presented a dedicated lecture to international judges at the FCI World Judges Congress to highlight the breed's standard and cultural history. Since the Tazy received provisional FCI recognition recently in 2024, these major victories directly accelerate its path toward final global status. Furthermore, Kazakhstan made a proud debut at the spectacular TOP Dog 2026 international show, where the National Flag was displayed on the main arena screen, proving that the state-supported initiative to preserve and promote national dog breeds is successfully delivering historical results globally.
