BMW has decided to recall 58,713 vehicles in the United States reports to Reuters.

Quality inspections revealed that the wiring harness of the air conditioning system in these cars was improperly installed, which could potentially cause a short circuit.

The recall affects the BMW M5 Sportswagon, BMW M5, and BMW 750e xDrive models. Company representatives stated that the identified defect will be corrected. So far, no accidents or incidents related to this technical issue have been reported.

Previously, Ford Motor Company announced a recall of 412,774 Ford Explorer SUVs in the U.S. due to possible damage to rear suspension components. According to the regulator, cracks in the control arms could lead to loss of vehicle control. Dealers will replace defective parts free of charge.

In addition, Ford is recalling 40,655 more vehicles, including 24,690 hybrid crossovers — Ford Escape PHEV and Lincoln Corsair PHEV (potential battery issues) and 15,965 2025 Ford Transit vans (brake pedal assembly defect).

The companies are currently working to fix the identified technical defects.
