A resident of the capital was held legally accountable for using profanity against a police operator during a call to the "102" hotline, according to the press service of the Astana City Prosecutor's Office.
During the call, the offender verbally abused and insulted a public official performing their official duties. Following the pre-trial investigation and court proceedings, his guilt was fully proven, resulting in a court sentence of 30 hours of community service. The verdict has now officially entered into legal force.
Prosecution officials emphasized that emergency personnel work under high responsibility to ensure public safety, warning that any infringement upon their honor and dignity will face strict legal consequences.
