Kazakhstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ermek Kosherbayev, held talks with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa'ar, who arrived in Astana on an official visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

According to the foreign policy department, the parties conducted the 12th round of political consultations between the two countries. During the meeting, they discussed pressing issues on the international and regional agenda, including initiatives aimed at promoting a peaceful settlement and strengthening trust in the Middle East.

Following the consultations, a memorandum of intent was signed to establish an agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Israel regarding the exemption of visa requirements for holders of national passports. This move is intended to bolster tourism and exchange between the two nations.
