Asiana Airlines has announced the resumption of international flights from Almaty starting March 29. Direct air service to South Korea’s capital will operate on a regular basis beginning in May.

According to the airline, direct flights between Almaty and Seoul’s Incheon International Airport will officially launch on May 29. However, the schedule will be gradually expanded starting in late March.

  • March 29 – May 3: Flights will operate three times per week (Tuesday, Friday, Sunday).

  • May 4 – October 24: Frequency will increase to five times per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday).

Via Seoul, transit passengers will have convenient connections to major Japanese cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sapporo, Okinawa, and Sendai. Tickets are currently available for booking.

Meanwhile, passengers departing from Astana are advised that due to runway maintenance at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, flight schedules will be adjusted between April 15 and May 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

These temporary restrictions will affect flights operated by Air Astana from Astana to Seoul, Istanbul, Dubai, and several domestic destinations.
