The Akim of the Turkistan region, Nuralkhan Kosherov, met with a foreign investor to discuss a project for a modern, international-standard aquapark, according to the press service of the regional Akimat. This large-scale entertainment complex is a major step toward transforming Turkistan into a prominent tourism hub in Central Asia.

According to the project, the total area of the new complex will exceed 120,000 square meters. In addition to water attractions, it will feature a cozy camping-style hotel, a guest reception center, and a banquet hall for formal events. The project's main highlight is its seasonal versatility: in the summer, visitors can enjoy high water slides like "Tornado" and "Rainbow," while in the winter, the area will be converted into a karting track. This universal solution ensures the facility operates year-round.

During the meeting, the parties discussed not only tourism but also industrial projects. Specifically, negotiations were held regarding the launch of new production capacities within the "Turan" Special Economic Zone. This is expected to have a positive impact on regional employment and economic diversification.

The Turkistan region continues to maintain a favorable investment climate. For instance, while the 2025 plan for fixed capital investment was set at 1.427 trillion tenge, the actual figure reached 1.746 trillion tenge, representing a 121.6% increase. As a result of this systematic work, Turkistan is strengthening its status not only as a spiritual capital but also as a major investment center.

The launch of this new tourist complex will provide a high-quality recreation spot for residents and international guests alike, providing a fresh boost to the region's economic development.
