Expanding the network to the Right Bank of Astana could take approximately three years, with the timeline depending on available funding.

On May 3, 2026, construction of the second phase of the LRT toward Kosshy officially began: the first pier was poured, and the first reinforced concrete beam was manufactured at the concrete plant.
