Air Astana plans to resume regular international flights to Dubai (UAE) from both Almaty and Astana. According to official information, flight operations from Almaty are scheduled to resume on June 20, while services from the capital will restart on July 10.
Due to the geopolitical situation in the Middle East and the closure of Iranian airspace, the airline has developed a new route to ensure flight safety and stability. Flights to Dubai will now operate through Pakistani airspace.
Almaty – Dubai Route:
June 15–21: 2 times a week (Saturday, Sunday)
June 22–28: 4 times a week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
June 29 – July 5: 6 times a week (daily except Tuesday)
From July 6: Daily operations
Astana – Dubai Route:
July 10–19: 3 times a week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
July 20–26: 4 times a week (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
July 27 – August 2: 5 times a week (daily except Monday and Wednesday)
From August 3: Daily operations
The airline's management is offering a special accommodation for passengers whose flights were previously disrupted and rebooked for travel dates up to July 31. These passengers will be able to rebook their trips to earlier flights free of charge (at no additional cost). This option will become available from June 20 for departures from Almaty and from July 10 for departures from Astana.
Air Astana representatives noted that they are closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and warned that further adjustments could be made to the flight schedule if conditions in the region change. Passengers will be notified of any additional updates in advance. As a reminder, air travel on this route had been repeatedly postponed since February due to military tensions in the region and was completely suspended until the end of May.
