A Yurt-Style Hotel to Be Built in Turkistan

At the latest meeting chaired by the akim of Turkistan Region, Nuralkhan Kusherov, architectural projects were discussed.

The meeting reviewed projects in the cities of Arys and Kentau, as well as initiatives planned for implementation in Turkistan city. The regional head emphasized the need to use modern approaches and ideas when executing these projects.

“Imagine modern architectural examples for decorating entrances to districts. Architecture and construction require innovation and activity. I believe the overall design code of the region should harmonize and be consistent with the city of Turkistan. It is necessary to improve the entrances to districts and cities where tourist attractions are located, as well as the areas around customs posts at the border,” said Nuralkhan Kusherov.

The architectural council meeting discussed the following projects: the construction of a medical center in Turkistan, a hotel in the Kazakh national style, creation of small architectural forms in the city, the construction of the Alley of Biys, and other initiatives.

The meeting also addressed the construction of a modern Symbol Square for hosting large-scale events in Turkistan, and planting wild grapevines along streets to provide shade and coolness during summer heat. Other topics included organizing the area around the Kentau market, building a bicycle path, and creating a new park funded by entrepreneurs in Arys city, with relevant proposals made.
