According to official data reported by gov.kz, the January session of the Unified National Testing (UNT) recently concluded with approximately 139,000 applicants participating across the country. In terms of language preferences, 76% of students chose to take the exam in Kazakh, while 24% opted for Russian, and a small group of 86 individuals took the test in English.

The examination was marked by strict monitoring; 152 participants were caught attempting to use mobile phones or cheat sheets. Furthermore, 92 applicants had their results annulled and were completely removed from their testing auditoriums for violating exam regulations.

Despite these incidents, more than half of the future graduates managed to reach the passing threshold over the two-week testing period. The average score recorded was 64 points, while the highest individual performance reached an impressive 138 points. Additionally, the session highlighted advancements in accessibility, with 328 students successfully completing the UNT through expanded inclusive education opportunities.
