Kazakhstan's tennis star Elena Rybakina, in partnership with American Taylor Fritz, has emerged victorious at the Eisenhower Cup in Indian Wells, California. The duo claimed the tournament's top prize of $200,000.

The Eisenhower Cup is a traditional charity event held just before the main draw of the Indian Wells tournament. It features eight of the world's elite mixed doubles pairs competing in a "super tie-break" format (first to 10 points). In this winner-takes-all event, the champions secure the entire $200,000 prize pool.

Rybakina and Fritz displayed exceptional form throughout the evening, successfully defending their title from the previous year:

• Quarterfinals: Defeated Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud with a score of 10–5.

• Semifinals: Secured a confident victory to advance to the final.

• Final: Overcame the American duo of Amanda Anisimova and Lerner Tien with a score of 10–7.

Another Kazakhstani standout, Alexander Bublik, also participated in the event. Teaming up with young Russian star Mirra Andreeva, they won their quarterfinal match against Americans Jessica Pegula and Tommy Paul with a score of 11–9. However, they were eliminated in the semifinals by the Anisimova/Tien pair (3–10).

Following this warm-up, the players will now focus on the main event—the prestigious WTA-1000 and ATP-1000 tournaments in Indian Wells. It is worth noting that Elena Rybakina was the singles champion of this tournament in 2023.

In this year's main draw, Jack Draper (UK) will be defending his title in the men's category, while Mirra Andreeva (Russia) will be defending her title in the women's category.
