Otbasy Bank has officially announced the disbursement of government bonuses to participants of the national housing construction savings system for the 2025 fiscal year. A total of 124.4 billion tenge was credited to citizen accounts, with over 591,000 depositors receiving the maximum possible payout of 157,280 tenge each.

To qualify for this maximum state support, depositors were required to contribute at least 200 MCI (equivalent to 786,400 tenge) to their accounts throughout the year. According to the bank, the funds were successfully transferred over the recent weekend, specifically on February 28 and March 1.

The distribution highlights a strong focus on social support, with the majority of the funds directed toward vulnerable categories and future homeowners. This includes 388,799 citizens currently in the housing queue, 237,688 individuals saving for future loans at a preferential 2% interest rate, and 303,406 specialized children’s accounts, which received a combined total of 9.6 billion tenge. Furthermore, the bonus reached 57,551 large families, 12,059 individuals with Group I and II disabilities, and 13,966 children without parental care.

Looking ahead, the government bonus is scheduled to increase following the conclusion of the 2026 fiscal year. The maximum payout is projected to rise to 173,000 tenge. To secure this full amount by the end of 2026, depositors are encouraged to accumulate a total of at least 865,000 tenge in their accounts by year-end. To reach this goal, bank officials recommend maintaining an average monthly contribution of approximately 73,000 tenge.
